
Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939)
Sigmund Freud was born in 1856 in Pribor, Czech Republic and died in 1939 in London. He was an Australian Neurologist. Now, he is known as the father of Psychoanalysis. Freud qualified as a doctor of medicine at the university of Vienna in 1881. He was a psychologist known for his theory of psycho-analysis. Freud may justly be called the most influencial intellectual legislator of his age. His creation of Psychoanalysis was at once a theory of the human Psyche, a therapy for the relief of its ills and an optic for the interpretation of culture and society.
